Again, I’d recommend a little greenstuff to make the fit more seamless, although you can get away without it. The two Bodyguards were a simple head swap as well, this time with each other. For the Imperial Thrower, I used the head from the male linesman, again using a little greenstuff to make the fit better. ![]() The Imperial Thrower is made of 8 parts, and the two Bodyguards are made of 9. It contains 4 resin miniatures 1 Blitzer, 1 Thrower and 2 hulking Black Orcs, each covered in detail and posed dynamically, as well as differently to the. The Noble Blitzer was much simpler, I didn’t attach the griffin to the breastplate, as it was detailed enough underneath without the griffin. For the male linesman, I did a simple head swap with the Imperial Thrower, filing away part of the neck, and used a little greenstuff to make a better fit. For the female linesman, I cut off her braids and stuck one behind her head, before removing the tankard from her belt. Take an average Wood Elf Wardancer with an AV of 8+, that's normally a 41.67 to roll on 2d6 but it's a 58.33 on 2d6+1 - That's 16.66 increase. For example, if we take a Human Blitzer's 9+, and it converts a 27.78 to a 41.67, that's a 13.89 increase. The Noble Blitzer is an expensive and interesting piece in Blood Bowl, rocking in at an eye-watering 105k in the new edition but with a unique skill. As previously mentioned, without converting, you’ll end up with two identical models for each player, so I set about doing a little bit of work to give more variety to the team.
